“My chiropractic journey started much like anyone else’s”

Doctor of Chiropractic

Ethan Peterson, DC

I’m Ethan Peterson, Doctor of Chiropractic, and I’d like to welcome you to my clinic. I’ve spent years studying the intricate details of the human body in a classroom setting as well as hands-on experience, and I’m so excited to bring the Westport neighborhood and greater Kansas City area the rewards of that training.

I am a University of Kansas Graduate (Exercise Science, ‘20) and received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park in December 2023.

I had aches and pains that could only be solved by manual techniques that my hometown chiropractor had been using for decades. Being exposed to these concepts as a teenager changed the way I thought about the body.

The other chiropractors I’ve been blessed to meet have all shown a passion for health and wellness that was unfamiliar to me: growing up in the rural midwest did not provide a lot of access to specialized or affordable care. I never saw going to the doctor as a good thing, until I felt the relief that the chiropractic adjustment can provide.

“I’m not here to tell you what you ‘should’ be, I work tirelessly to show you who you can be.”

Don’t confuse my newcomer status with inexperience!

On top of the intense internship curriculum required to graduate, I was able to participate in clubs, seminars, and was selected as a volunteer for a handful of low-cost/free clinics in the metro during my time at Cleveland. This provided me experience with all sorts of patient demographics, including a wide range of ages, activity levels, and cultural backgrounds.

You deserve to be done dealing with the pain, come let me show you how we can do that.

“I hold myself & the people I work with to the highest standard.”

One important experience that I was fortunate to have the opportunity to have while at Cleveland was serving as a student representative for the Diversity Committee. This is a small group of faculty, staff, and students from various degree programs on campus with the goal to promote inclusion of all peoples in chiropractic and associated health sciences. Everyone is deserving of superior care, regardless of their changeable or unchangeable qualities. In my office, everyone is welcome.

Outside the Office

I have many hobbies and not nearly enough time to explore them all to their full potential. If you have a cool hobby, odds are I’m going to try it! I love learning about all the fun things Kansas City has to offer.
